RDN Health
RDN Health is a social enterprise of Rural Doctors Network (RDN), delivering integrated health access solutions for under-resourced communities. RDN Health collaborates across a range of networks to build capacity, mobilise knowledge and deliver programs and products to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in under-resourced communities, including metropolitan, rural, remote, regional and Indigenous communities around Australia and beyond.
"RDN Health supports the World Health Organisation’s goal of achieving a world in which all people have access to the full range of quality health services they need, when and where they need them, without financial hardship.” - RDN Strategic Plan 2025-2028
"Health Access for All": The RDN Health Story
RDN Health collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders, including community members, health providers, health administrators, policy-makers, linked-sectors and academia, in order to create and sustain change for community-centred social outcomes, and the ultimate goal of 'health access for all'.
RDN Health traces its origins to 1988 and the vision of family doctors based in rural New South Wales, Australia. Today, the enterprise works across the community, from metropolitan areas to the most remote regions, delivering specialised services that support and integrate health, aged care, disability, and community sectors, to enable socially accountable health access for under-resourced communities.
