Medical Student Rural Inspiration Conference

The Medical Student Rural Inspiration Conference takes place every year in November co-hosted by Rural Doctors Network and the NSW Regional Training Hub Networks as part of Rural Health Month. The event brings together medical students from across New South Wales and beyond for a day of inspiration, connection and discovery.

Whether you're already passionate about a career in rural medicine or beginning to explore what a future in remote and regional healthcare could look like, this conference will inspire your journey.

Through dynamic and interactive sessions, students can hear from clinicians and leaders working across remote and regional Australia, explore unique opportunities and career pathways and gain practical insights into building a meaningful life alongside a rewarding career.

The conference is also a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded medical students, expand your professional network and meet experienced clinicians, speakers and panellists who are passionate about rural health.

Held as part of Rural Health Month, the annual celebration of rural health professionals, the conference is co-located with the Rural GPs Conference and the Rural Practice Managers Conference, creating a unique opportunity to connect with the broader rural health community.
