14th September 2026

RDN_Article_Image_CaptionsBorders_-_2026-09-11T111707.106.pngIn November 2026, the Rural Medical Service Awards will once again honour General Practitioners who have provided 35 years of medical service to communities in remote, rural and regional NSW. The presentation will take place at the Rural GPs Conference dinner in Sydney.

As of 30 June 2026, if you have achieved 35 or more years of cumulative or consecutive medical service as a NSW GP in an MM2-7 area (and if you have not already received this one-off award), then you are likely to be eligible to receive the Rural Medical Service Award this year and Rural Doctors Network would be delighted to receive your nomination.

Please complete the online nomination form by Friday 25 September 2026 or email enquiries@rdnhealth.org or phone 02 4924 8000 for more information.

On confirmation of your eligibility, you will be invited to join Rural Doctors Network and conference delegates at the GPs Conference Dinner to receive your award certificate.
