Book now for Rural GP VMO Conference
12th June 2026
Rural Doctors Network invites you to attend the Rural GP VMO Conference which will take place in Canowindra on 12–13 September 2026.
Designed by GP Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs), for GP VMOs, this unique conference is dedicated to the clinical and professional needs of doctors working across both general practice and rural hospitals.
Across two days, you'll hear from leading specialists on topics directly relevant to VMO practice, including ENT, infectious diseases, oncology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, urology, respiratory medicine and cardiology.
Beyond the education sessions, the conference provides a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow GP VMOs, share experiences, discuss common challenges and strengthen your professional network.
Dr Louise Baker from Cowra is a past attendee who described the Conference as "a course that shouldn't be missed” while Dr Sally Plunkett from Dunedoo said it was "fantastic” and praised the broad range of topics and speakers that offered “…in-depth specialised knowledge important for keeping up to date with ever-changing practice."
