Register now for RDN’s Preparing for ADHD Reforms Masterclass

25th August 2025

Adhd masterclass.pngADHD prescribing reforms are now in effect in NSW - and GPs are at the centre of this shift. RDN’s Preparing for ADHD Reforms Masterclass is designed to help GPs respond with confidence.

Under the new model, GPs can now continue prescriptions for children and adults on stable ADHD medications without needing a formal agreement with a non-GP specialist. In addition, a smaller group of specially trained GPs will be authorised to diagnose and initiate treatment where appropriate.

This focused session will give you up-to-the-minute information on how the reforms are being implemented, along with practical, case-based training to support your clinical decision-making.

This Masterclass is part of Rural Health Pro’s Rural Health Month at Hilton Sydney on Wednesday 26 November and adjoins RDN's flagship Rural GPs Conference.

Rural Health Month takes place annually in November and is an opportunity for the rural health community to come together for a series of educational and networking events with a ‘rural positive’ focus.

Spanning the month of November, Rural Health Month was conceived in 2020 by Rural Health Pro and is a national celebration of the people, programs and professions driving better health in rural and remote communities.

Registrations are now open for a growing number of events designed to connect, educate, inspire and recognise rural health professionals across disciplines.
