2025 RDN Board Appointments

Members of the 2024 RDN Board, during Rural Health Month last year (L-R): Dr John Curnow, Professor Peter O’Mara, Dr Amanda Brownlow, Dr Costa Boyages, Dr Ros Bullock, A/Prof John Kramer OAM and Dr Lauren Cone. The RDN Board of Directors is headed by an elected Chair and Deputy Chair who are both in rural general practice. The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of RDN, for developing policy and planning priorities, and for ensuring that RDN meets its contractual agreements and obligations.
At the 2024 RDN Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in November, office bearer roles were elected with Professor Peter O’Mara continuing in the role of Chair for a second term, while Dr Lauren Cone was elected as Deputy Chair. Dr Costa Boyages continues in the role of Treasurer.
The following RDN Board Directors were appointed for a two-year term:
- Dr Lauren Cone (Deputy Chair)
- Dr Amanda Brownlow (RDN Primary Member Elected Directors)
- Dr John Curnow (Rural Doctors Association NSW).
A/Prof. John Kramer and Ms Jill Ludford continue in their two-year terms as Directors.
Dr Ros Bullock and Dr Nigel Lyons’ terms of service concluded at the AGM and we sincerely thank them for their commitment, leadership, and valuable contribution to RDN.
