Rural GPs Conference

Rural Doctors Network and the Rural Doctors Association of NSW invite rural GPs and their families to the Rural GPs Conference which will be held on 27-28 November at Hilton Sydney. Practical, welcoming and designed specifically for rural general practice, this is your opportunity to learn alongside colleagues who understand the realities of rural medicine, gain valuable clinical updates and take home knowledge you can use straight away.

Program highlights include:

• Clinical updates on women's health, diabetes, cardiology, genetics, mental health and more
• Practical workshops on obesity management, skin cancer diagnosis and dementia care
• Expert insights into culturally safe care
• Innovative approaches to rural healthcare delivery and service design
• Interactive grand rounds and case-based discussions

More than a conference, it's a chance to step away from the day-to-day pressures of practice, reconnect with colleagues who understand your world, share ideas and experiences and return home feeling refreshed, energised and supported. Partners are welcome at the Friday networking event and the Saturday conference dinner and a dedicated kids' program is available for those travelling with children.

Held as part of Rural Health Month, the annual celebration of rural health professionals, the conference is co-located with the Rural Practice Managers Conference and the Medical Student Rural Inspiration Conference, creating a unique opportunity to connect with the broader rural health community. You can also extend your professional development with separately bookable ALS 1 and ALS 2 Workshops and a free pre-conference ADHD Masterclass that accredits participants as continuation prescribers. The conference will be accredited for RACGP CPD (EA and RP) and ACRRM PDP.
