New GP Orientation Workshop

Rural Doctors Network is pleased to invite you to the New GP Orientation Workshop, which will be held at Hilton Sydney on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 November.

The two-day program will be accredited for CPD/PDP and offers an interactive and relaxed environment designed to support your transition into rural NSW practice. Beyond the clinical updates, it serves as a dedicated space to connect with peers and experts who understand the unique landscape of our rural communities.

Our panel of experts will provide essential insights into:

• Practice Essentials & Funding: MBS, PBS, DVA, and Workers Compensation.
• Clinical Focus: Mental Health, Indigenous Health, and Women’s Health.
• Career & Risk: Pathways to Fellowship and managing Medico-legal risk.
• Patient Care: Patient-centered communication strategies to drive behavioral change.

As part of Rural Health Pro's Rural Health Month, annual celebration of rural health professionals, this workshop will be held alongside the Rural GPs Conference which is taking place on 27-28 November at the same venue. Attending both events is a great opportunity to enhance your professional development and connect with colleagues from across the sector.
