Preparing for ADHD Reforms Masterclass
About the Masterclass
ADHD prescribing reforms are now in effect in NSW - and GPs are at the centre of this shift.
Under the new model, GPs can now continue prescriptions for children and adults on stable ADHD medications without needing a formal agreement with a non-GP specialist. In addition, a smaller group of specially trained GPs will be authorised to diagnose and initiate treatment where appropriate.
These are significant changes and Preparing for ADHD Reforms is designed to help GPs respond with confidence.
This focused session will give you up-to-the-minute information on how the reforms are being implemented, along with practical, case-based training to support your clinical decision-making. The initial focus is on paediatric and adolescent ADHD, as this will be the first area of expansion, however adult ADHD will also be touched on.
