2025 NSW Rural Medical Service Awards
01st December 2025
An important moment of recognition took place during the Rural GPs Conference Dinner on Saturday night when seven General Practitioners (GPs), who have spent the past 35 years or more caring for remote, rural and regional communities in New South Wales, were honoured with a NSW Rural Medical Service Award, presented by RDN.
Four of the seven GPS were in attendance to receive their awards in person and to reflect on their years of service with RDN Board Member Dr John Kramer OAM as they received their certificate to loud applause.
RDN Manager, Conferences and Events, Lindsey Eifler said “RDN believes from experience that few things are valued more highly by country people than the peace of mind that comes with having a “local doctor” as part of the fabric of their community.”
