RDN hosts annual Health Outreach Advisory Forum (HOAF)

Last Wednesday 21 May, RDN’s Health Access Services team hosted the annual Health Outreach Advisory Forum (HOAF) at its St Leonards office. 

The purpose of the meeting was to endorse the Outreach program planning methodology, annual needs assessment, and service planning. 

Twenty-three people took part in the meeting, joining either in person or online, including HOAF members and observers from a variety of organisations including AH&MRC, ASOHNS, Optometry NSW and Hearing Australia.  

During the session, RDN staff presented the Outreach Service Plan for 2025–26.  

RDN’s Program Support Officer for Service Delivery, Tori Towney said “...it was encouraging to see the strong partnerships between organisations, working together, and leveraging their networks to achieve better health outcomes for communities.”
