Rural GP VMO Conference
Rural Doctors Network invites GP VMOs to attend the Rural GP VMO Conference, taking place in Canowindra on 12-13 September.
Designed by rural GP VMOs, for rural GP VMOs, this unique conference is dedicated to the clinical and professional needs of doctors working across both general practice and rural hospitals.
Across two days, you'll hear from leading specialists on topics directly relevant to VMO practice, including ENT, infectious diseases, oncology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, urology, respiratory medicine and cardiology. The program has been carefully developed to deliver practical updates and insights that can be applied in your day-to-day work.
Beyond the education sessions, the conference provides a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow GP VMOs from across rural NSW, share experiences, discuss common challenges and strengthen your professional network. When the day's learning is done, join colleagues for the conference dinner at Homestead Canowindra and enjoy the hospitality of this welcoming rural community.
The conference will be accredited for CPD and PDP with RACGP and ACRRM. Whether you're a long-time attendee or joining us for the first time, don't miss this opportunity to be part of an event created specifically for the rural GP VMO community.

You may be eligible for funding support through the Health Workforce Scholarship Program. We encourage you to review the updated guidelines and application timings here.
