The Rural Health Pathways Showcase is open to students in Yrs 9-12 interested in a career in allied health, medicine, nursing, midwifery, Aboriginal health and more.

Careers advisers, teachers, students and parents, have the opportunity to:

  • Talk to representatives from colleges, universities, peak bodies and health employers about study pathways and career opportunities.

  • Speak one-on-one with and be inspired by health students, recent graduates and health professionals about their education and career journeys.

  • Participate in hands-on activities offering an immersive "day-in-the-life" perspective of various health careers.

How the event works: 

    • All students / teachers / parents attend the Information & Panel sessions
    • Rotations – Expo, Chat Corner, Workshops
      • Attendees are allocated to a group. Your group letter is printed on your name badge.
      • Groups have been allocated so you experience all aspects of the event in a small group setting for a more engaging and enjoyable experience.
      • Attendees refer to the program insert (rotations timetable) for their group’s schedule and map for the zone locations.

Each rotation is 30 minutes and you may participate in 1 x 30 minute or 2 x 15 minute activities within each rotation.
